Machine Learning Engineer

What You’ll Do:

As a Machine Learning Engineer at AI Vision, you will:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and train state-of-the-art computer vision models (e.g., object detection, panoptic segmentation) using deep learning techniques, including hands-on experience working with foundation models.
• Work on projects involving real-world deployment of AI models for industrial applications.
• Gain hands-on experience visiting factories, working closely with engineers to identify potential problems that computer vision models can solve.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in deep learning, computer vision, and foundation models.
• Develop project management leadership skills by taking ownership of a project.

Who you are:

• A candidate who is near completion of their degree or has recently graduated with a background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in computer vision, deep learning, and AI.
• Familiarity with Python
• A passion for problem-solving and innovation, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Bonus:

• Thesis work or class experience training a deep learning model from scratch.
• Practical experience or a keen interest in hands-on projects, such as building and tuning camera equipment, with a focus on applying these skills in real-world settings.
